Help make our church community work
Join the choir
We are always looking for new voices to join our choir. Come on Sunday and talk with the director of music. Rehersal is one hour before the start of the service.
Become a sidesperson
Join the group of people who welcome our congregation every Sunday. Talk with a sidesperson to discover what is involved.
Join the Electoral Roll
Join the Electoral Roll, the list of people who are allowed to vote at the AGM for church officers.
Become a Sunday school teacher
We have an active Sunday school but we are always interested in new people to teach or who can assist with the Sunday school. Talk with the chaplain about what is involved.
St Alban´s upholds, and works according to, the Child Protection Policy of the Church of England
Make the coffee
Coffee and tea is served after our Sunday service. We are always looking for people who are interested in preparing and serving.
Join the Mothers Union
We have a branch of the worldwide mothers union at our church. We welcome both women and men to join this organisation.
Become a guardian
During the summer we try to keep the church open to allow tourists and pilgrims to experience our church during the week. We always need more people to help us keep the church open and provide welcome.
Join the Altar Guild
The guild cares of the fabric and furnishings of the church – the brass, candles, cupboards, linen, silver, vestments, flowers and wrought iron. You too can help with this task.
Make a donation
You can help the work of our church by donating money or leaving a legacy to the Church.
Saint Alban's is entirely self-supporting and receives no funds from the Danish and British States. We do not receive any funds from the Church of England either.
We would be very grateful if would be able to make a donation towards our annual costs so that our important work can continue.
