Some important information concerning how the interregnum period affects various aspects of the church.
Dear Members of the Congregation,
We hope this notice finds you in good health and high spirits. As you may be aware, our church is currently in an interregnum period, which refers to the time between the departure of our previous minister and the arrival of a new one. During this transitional phase, we would like to bring a few important matters to your attention.
Despite the absence of a permanent minister, we will continue to hold regular worship services every Sunday at their usual times. Locums and lay leaders will be invited to conduct these services and ensure that our spiritual needs are met. We encourage all members to attend and actively participate in these gatherings.
In the absence of a designated pastor, our dedicated team of lay leaders and Ministry team will be available to provide support and assistance as needed. Church Committees and Activities:
Our various committees and ministries will continue to operate during the interregnum. We encourage all members to actively participate and contribute to the ongoing activities. This includes committees related to mission and outreach, communications, building and works, Spire project, finance, and any other areas that require your involvement. Please contact the relevant committee Leads for more information or to express your interest in joining.
Pastoral Search Process:
The process of finding a new minister is already underway. Our PCC is diligently working with the Archdeacon and Bishop to identify suitable candidates who align with our church's values and vision. We kindly request your prayers for their discernment and guidance during this crucial task. Regular updates regarding the progress of the search process will be communicated to the congregation.
Communication and Updates:
To ensure effective communication, we will be utilising various channels to provide updates and information. Our church website, social media platforms, email newsletters, and bulletin boards will be regularly updated with important announcements, events, and any changes to our schedule. We encourage you to stay connected through these channels to stay informed.
