Choral Exam Success
Huge congratulations to Isabelle, one of our talented singers, for achieving a "Highly Commended" grade in her RSCM Gold Award exam.
Last Sunday was Music Sunday, and we were delighted to celebrate the ongoing musical achievements of Isabelle Brander-Wang, one of our talented choir singers, for achieving a "Highly Commended" grade - the highest available - in her Gold Award exam through the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM).
The Gold Award is a thorough test of all of a singer's talents, knowledge, and abilities, and represents the pinnacle of the RSCM's choral training curriculum. Isabelle took the exam over Zoom in the church just before Easter, and we're very proud that she achieved such a fantastic result, winning high praise from the examiner.
She was presented with her new gold medal on Sunday, so that she can wear it whenever she sings at St Alban's as a symbol of her skills and expertise.
