5th March 3.30pm: Choral Evensong for Peace in Ukraine
Marking the sombre milestone of a year of war in Ukraine

On Sunday 5th March at 3.30pm we will mark the recent sombre milestone of a year of war in Ukraine with a Choral Evensong praying for peace. The service is an opportunity to offer prayers and reflections for those who have suffered, died, or been forced to flee their homes in the face of military aggression; and to pray for peace and for the welfare of the country, its people, and the world.
The choir will sing traditional Anglican Evensong music including works by Richard Ayleward (1626-1669) and Thomas Tallis (c. 1505-1585), as well as an anthem by the Ukrainian composer Kyrylo Stetsenko (1882-1922).
