Ministry
The team at St Alban’s includes the Chaplain, Revd Smitha Prasadam, four Lay Readers, a MES Intern and a Postulant.
Hospitality, openness and enthusiasm drive us
Conversation and communion sustain us
Prayer and study inspire us…
… join us on the journey.
Our Chaplain
Smitha Prasadam was born in India, adopted by the UK, now lives in Denmark with husband Peter. She was ordained in 2003 and held a Curacy and Incumbency in the Birmingham Diocese. She has been the Chaplain of St Alban’s since 2018 and also has responsibilities as the Bishop's Adviser for BAME Affairs, as Training Incumbent, Placement Supervisor and IME Tutor.
We are the Church of England in an outpost
Not so much United Kingdom as Kingdom of Denmark
But much more the Kingdom of God – a bit of heaven on Earth
