Our new Locum Chaplain

The Rev. J.O. “Pete” Wright from the USA will be the locum priest for the months of November, December and January at Saint Alban's.

Fr. Wright is from the Diocese of Los Angeles. He was ordained in the Roman Catholic Church and he spent 13 years in the Franciscan Order. He joined the Episcopal Church in 1983. He worked in the banking industry for 38 years and was a “worker priest” on the weekends in the Episcopal Church. He retired from banking in 2009. He continues to do interim ministry in parishes that are in transition, as well as weekend parish ministry throughout the Dioceses of Los Angeles in California, Hawaii, and the Diocese in Europe.

He and his wife, Penny (an attorney) have 5 adult children and 11 grandchildren. One son and his family live in Oslo.
