Job Opportunity – Children, Youth and Student Worker

Saint Alban’s Church, Copenhagen — a growing, lively and diverse Christian community which is part of the Diocese in Europe of The Church of England, and the worldwide Anglican Communion — seeks to appoint a Children, Youth and Student Worker.

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing and developing the Church’s existing ministries with children, youth and students. In particular they will build, coordinate and lead activities for children (0-11s); young people (12-18s); and students and other young adults.

A committed and enthusiastic faith with an understanding of the Anglican tradition, along with a significant level of personal maturity and a qualification and/or demonstrable track record in effective ministry with children, youth or students and young adults are essential. The successful candidate will also be a strong team player with a desire to build community and motivate others. There is also a requirement for the candidate to be fluent in English and Danish.

This is a part time position (18 hours per week, including Sundays and some evenings) offered with a one year contract, with the possibility of extension. Remuneration will be between 110,000 and 130,000 DKK, depending on experience and qualifications.
