Services at St Alban’s
SUNDAY
9.00am Holy Communion (1st April – 30th September only)
This is a quiet Holy Communion service, with no hymns, and celebrated in the side chapel of the church. We use the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. It lasts around 20-25 minutes. Please note that this service does not take place from November to April.
10.30am Sung Eucharist
This is the main Sunday Service. The service is in contemporary language and includes hymns, led by our choir, and a sermon. There is a Sunday School to which all children are invited. Christians of all traditions are welcome to receive Communion. The service lasts between 60-70 minutes and refreshments are served afterwards.
