Green shoots of Spirituality
Posted on Sunday 29th March, 2009
We are delighted that Bishop Frank Sargeant has generously offered to lead three study sessions in April.
He writes: “I am at the moment researching the works of Canon Peter Green, who was the Rector of the Parish in which we live in Salford for thirty-nine years and during that time he wrote thirty books. He has been described as the greatest parish priest of the 20th century. I would like to hold three sessions with the overall title of “Green shoots of Spirituality”. “
These sessions will take place on Wednesday evening in church at 19.00
- Wednesday 15 April 19.00 Green shoots of Christian doctrine
- Wednesday 22 April 19.00 Green shoots of Christian worship
- Wednesday 29 April 19.00 Green shoots of Christian behaviour
We are sure this will be a very interesting series of study sessions.
Everyone is welcome.
